The Netherlands and electronic music go hand by hand. And Amsterdam knows what the electronic music festivals that all techno lovers put in the top five events. Welcome to the future is one of those festivals that any country would like to have.

Nothing else and nothing less than 12 editions supported in the festival, which is in the nature reserve Het Twiske (Recreatiegebied). This location it is a special place located in the north of Amsterdam, a large green area that will cost you to believe that it is something like all the hustle and bustle of the Dutch city.

It is not a regular festival. From 12 o’clock in the morning until 00:00h you will be able to dance without stopping in any of the seven stages which the festival counts. You will find whatever type of electronic music at Welcome to the Future: Main, where you can enjoy great artists like Adriatique or Luuk Van Dijk; Techno, where your ears will hear the highest BPM of Kobosil’S or Dax J; House, your stage to move the hip with the melodies of Mathew Jonson (live) or Sandrien; Fjaak (live) or Dj Rush are some of the DJs you’ll find in Aurora, Boris Werner or Dorine Dorado on the stage Amsterdam; On Salon stage, the turn will be for Anna, Bart Skills or Samuel Deep; and in Garden, Frits Wentink or Peaceandtime, among other great artists, will be responsible for making unforgettable sessions for this 13th edition.

In general, all electronic music events in  Netherlands are usually for people over 18 years old, and Welcome to the Future was not going to be less. To guarantee the entry you must take your identification.

How can you get to the festival? It is located 10 km from the north of Amsterdam so it will take approximately 30-35 minutes if you decide to go by bike. Something we recommend because the route is simple and beautiful if you do not know Amsterdam, or is the first time in the north of Amsterdam. To get to the north of Amsterdam you only have to take the Ferry located behind the Central Station. The address is “Buiksoterweg“.
